Pascal Rochat, Investor Relations & Management

Prior to co-founding Active Niche Funds in 2007, Pascal was the Chief Risk Officer of Energie Ouest Suisse (EOS) in Lausanne. EOS was one of the major Swiss integrated electricity companies and was significantly involved in the Renewable Energy sector; EOS merged in 2009 with Atel and became Alpiq. Within EOS, Pascal was responsible for global risk management of EOS Group and he developed an integrated and quantified Enterprise Risk Management. Pascal was also part of EOS's Investment Committee which reviews and evaluates Renewable Energy projects for investment purposes. Pascal started his career with Arthur Andersen (now Ernst & Young) in Geneva as an Auditor and an Economic and Financial Consultant; his clients were mainly oil and trading corporations.

Pascal studied law and management at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland). Pascal obtained a Ph.D. in tax law and joined HEC Lausanne for Postgraduate Management Studies; at the same time, he was assisting Prof. Georges Muller teaching corporate law at Lausanne law school.

Philippe Rochat, Trading & Fund Administration

Since 2004, Philippe is an Independent Asset Manager and runs its own company: Active Asset Management. He co-founded Active Niche Funds in 2007. Philippe was formerly an Asset Manager within Cosba Private Banking in Lausanne. In 1999, Philippe joined Firstquote in Geneva as Trading Specialist; he promoted a new trading solution to banks and was in charge of developing the trade station, as well as negotiating with banks and stock exchanges. Philippe started his career at Banque Cantonale Vaudoise in Lausanne as Assistant for external asset managers.

Philippe is a Certified International Wealth Manager by CFPI and holds an IAF Diploma of Fund Advisor.

Arnaud Chambaud, Analyst

Prior to joining Active Niche Funds in 2012, Arnaud spent 3 years working as a Financial Analyst for an Asset Management Company based in Paris. Arnaud also worked 2 years as a Financial Analyst at Atradius and BPCE Group as well as a Financial Controller at Volkswagen Bank.

Arnaud studied Electronic Engineering in France and England and obtained a Master Degree in Finance in 2006.
